Taiwan-based China Airlines has renewed its content distribution agreement with Travelport GDS.

As part of the agreement, China Airlines will provide market fares automatically fares on the Galileo system in Taiwan to allow agents to access to the airline’s latest airfares. The new agreement will also extend the functions currently available on Galileo GDS, such as interactive seat assignment, viewing passenger name records, and the complete booking record, to Worldspan agents world wide.

In addition, China Airlines will continue to use Travelport’s business intelligence division system on its marketing information data tapes which will help it to learn about the booking performance of travel agencies connected with Travelport GDS.
