On arrival into Beijing you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest in hotel, visit the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420, the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. (D)

Day 2 FORBIDDEN CITY, TIANANMEN SQUARE, SUMMER PALACE, PEIKING DUCK BANQUET
Today you will embark upon a full-day tour of the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Summer Palace. Tonight, dinner is a Peking duck banquet in the original duck restaurant, and Beijing Opera Show/Kungfu Show/Acrobatic Show at night as optional. (B/L/D)

Day 3 MING TOMBS MUSEUM, BADALING GREAT WALL
This morning, visit the Ming Tombs Museum, the ancient burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors, and the Sacred Way. After lunch visit the Badaling Great Wall, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. Cable car is optional to get the top of The Great Wall. (B/L/D)

Day 4 HUTONG, DEPART BEIJING
This afternoon, hop on a pedicab and ride through the 700-year-old winding streets to tour the Hutong area and take a visit to local family, then, visit the Lama Temple. After lunch, you’ll be transferred to Beijing airport for your onward flight after lunch. (B/L)
Highlights
Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in southeastern urban Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.
Tiananmen Square: Tiananmen Square is the large plaza in the center of Beijing, named after the Tiananmen (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace) which sits to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City. The square covers 40.5 hectares (100.acres), which makes it the largest open-urban square in the world. It has great cultural significance as a symbol because it was the site of several key events in Chinese history.
Forbidden City: Built from 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 surviving buildings with 8,707 bays of rooms and covers 720,000 square meters. The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
Badaling Great Wall: Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles northwest of Beijing city within the Beijing municipality. Now visited annually by millions, the immediate area has seen significant development, including hotels, restaurants, and a cable car.
Ming Tombs Museum: The Ming Tombs Museum are located about 50 kilometers due North of Beijing at a specially selected site. The Ming tombs of the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty were located on the southern slope of Mount Taishou. The site was chosen by the third Ming Dynasty emperor Yongle (1402 - 1424), who moved the capital of China from Nanjing to the present location of northwest Beijing. He is credited with envisioning the layout of the ancient city of Beijing as well as a number of landmarks and monuments located therein. After the construction of the Imperial Palace (the Forbidden City) in 1420, the Yongle Emperor selected his burial site and creating his own mausoleum.
Lama Temple: The Yonghe Temple also known as the "Palace of Peace and Harmony Lama Temple", the "Yonghe Lamasery", or - popularly - the "Lama Temple" is a temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism located in the northeastern part of Beijing. The building and the artworks of the temple combine Han Chinese and Tibetan styles.
Hutongs: Hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences. Since the mid-20th century, the number of Beijing hutongs has dropped dramatically as they are demolished to make way for new roads and buildings. More recently, some hutongs have been designated as protected areas in an attempt to preserve this aspect of Chinese cultural history.
Summer Palace: The Summer Palace (literally "Garden of Nurtured Harmony") is a palace in Beijing. In its compact 70,000 square meters of building space, one finds a variety of palaces, gardens, and other classical-style architectural structures. In December 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritasge List.
Kungfu Show: Kung fu and wushu are popular terms that have become synonymous with Chinese martial arts. However, the Chinese terms kung fu and wushu have very distinct connotations. Each term can describe different martial arts traditions and can also be used in a context without referencing martial arts.
Peking Duck: The dish is prized for the thin, crispy skin, with authentic versions of the dish serving mostly the skin and little meat, sliced in front of the diners by the cook. Ducks are bred specially for the dish. The meat is often eaten with pancakes, spring onions, and hoisin sauce or sweet noodle sauce.
