Day 1 ARRIVE SHANGHAI, ORIENTAL PEARL TV TOWER, NANJING ROAD, THE BUND
On arrival into Shanghai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, followed by visit to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to get a bird-view of Shanghai from the tower, then, drive to The Bund for some great views of the futuristic Pudong area and Nanjing Road for a spot of shopping after lunch. Day 2 SHANGHAI/SUZHOU, LINGERING GARDEN, HUMBLE ADMINISTRATOR’S GARDEN, PAN GATE
This morning after breakfast, take 2-hour journey transfer by road to Suzhou. Take a visit to the Lingering Garden -the best garden in Suzhou as well as being one of the four most famous gardens in China, followed by the Humble Administrator's Garden -the largest private garden in Suzhou and one of four most famous classical gardens in China. Then, continuing to visit the Pan Gate area. Transfer by road back to Shanghai. (B/L/D)

Day 3 ZHOUZHUANG, SHEN FAMILY RESIDENCE, MILOU TOWER
Today, transfer by road to Zhouzhuang, the most famous water village in China. Visit Shen Family Residence, Milou Tower. Take a short cruise on the small river through the village. Then, transfer by road back to Shanghai. (B/L/D)

Day 4 HANGZHOU, LINGYIN TEMPLE, SIX HARMONIES PAGODA, CHINESE MEDICINE MUSEUM
After breakfast, transfer by road to Hangzhou. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing. Highlights including Lingyin Temple -premier showpiece in the West Lake environs. Take a cruise on West Lake, followed by a visit to Six Harmonies Pagoda -a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum. Transfer by road back to Shanghai. Highlights
Jade Buddha Temple: The Jade Buddha Temple (pinyin: Yùfó Chán Sì) is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai, China. As with most modern Chinese Buddhist temples, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea.
Yu Garden: Yu Garden (Pinyin: Yùyuán), located in the center of the Old City in Shanghai, is considered one of the four finest Chinese gardens. The garden was reportedly first established in 1559 as a private garden created by Pan Yunduan, who spent almost 20 years building a garden to please his father Pan En, a high-ranking official in the Ming Dynasty. During the Taiping Rebellion the gardens were occupied by imperial troops, and damaged by the Japanese in 1942. They were repaired by the Shanghai government from 1956-1961, and declared a national monument in 1982.
Shanghai Museum: Construction of the current Shanghai Museum started in August 1993. It is 29.5 meters high with five floors, covering a total area of 39,200 m². Designed by a local architect, the new museum building is designed in the shape of an ancient, bronze, tripod cooking vessel called a ding.
Six Harmonies Pagoda: Located on the Yuelun Hill besides Qiantang River, Six Harmonies Pagoda was built by King of Wuyu to ward off Qiantang bore. As high as 59.89 meters, this grand pagoda has 7 sides and 8 stories. Looked down from the top, all Qiantang River beauty is birdviewed.
West Lake: (pinyin: xihu)West Lake is not only famous for its picturesque landscape, it is also associated with many scholars, national heros and revolutionary martyrs, thus embracing abundant cultural deposits.
Lingyin Temple: Lingyin Temple was a famous monastery in the Jiangnan region. At its peak under the Kingdom of Wuyue (907-978), the temple boasted nine multi-storey buildings, 18 pavilions, 72 halls, more than 1300 dormitory rooms, inhabited by more than 3000 monks. Many of the rich Buddhist carvings in the Feilai Feng grottos and surrounding mountains also date from this era.
Zhouzhuang: It is one of the most famous water townships in China, noted for its profound cultural background, the well preserved ancient residential houses, the elegant watery views and the strong local colored traditions and customs. It has been called the "Venice of the East".
Milou Tower: Once called the De's Tavern, Milou Tower perches next to Zhenfeng Bridge which is at the southwest corner of Zhouzhuang. It is famous for being a rallying place of the literators in old times. Numerous poets, songs and stories about Milou Tower are wide spread and make it more charming.
Pan Gate: (pinyin: pánmén) Pan Gate is a famous historical landmark in Suzhou, China. Originally built during the Warring States Period in the state of Wu, historians estimate it to be around 2,500 years old. It is now part of the Pan Gate Scenic Area. It is known for the "three landmarks of Pan Gate".
Shen Family Residence: Built in 1742 and located at the southeast side of Fuan Bridge, Shen House was the private property of the descendant of Shen Wansan, the first millionaire of Jiangnan (South of Yangtze River) in the early Qing Dynasty. The whole architectural complex is of the Qing's style and occupies an area of more than 2,000 square meters (half an acre). Over 100 rooms are divided into three sections and each one is connected by arcades and aisles.
Humble Administrator's Garden: (pinyin: Zhuōzhèng Yuán)Humble Administrator's Garden closely resembles its late Qing appearance, with numerous pavilions and bridges set among a maze of connected pools and islands.
Lingering Garden: (pinyin: liuyuan) Lingering Garden is a renowned Chinese classical garden,the garden was recorded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1997. It is one of four prominent classical gardens in China.
Nanjing Road: Nanjing Road (pinyin: Nánjīng Lù) is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, one of the world's busiest shopping streets. In a broad sense, Nanjing Road includes East-Nanjing Road and West-Nanjing Road, while in narrow sense, it only refers to the Nanjing Road before 1945 (today’s East-Nanjing Road), which is pedestrianized.
The Bund: The Bund (pinyin: Wàitān) is an area of Huangpu District in Shanghai. The area centres on a section of Zhongshan Road within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. The Bund is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai. Building heights are restricted in this area.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower: The Oriental Pearl TV Tower (pinyin: dong fang ming zhu) was built in 1994 at a height of 468m (1,550 ft.), it is hailed as the tallest TV tower in Asia and the third tallest in the world. Visit for the stunning panoramas of Shanghai (when the clouds and smog decide to cooperate) and the stellar Shanghai Municipal History Museum located in the basement.
