Day 1   ARRIVE BEIJING

On arrival into Beijing, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend rest of the day exploring exciting Beijing at your leisure.

Day 2   BEIJING

Today, you will embark upon a full-day tour of Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. You can choose the Beijing Opera Show/Kungfu Show as optional at night.   (B/L/D)

Day 3   BEIJING

This morning, visit  Ming Tombs Museum, the ancient burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors, and the Sacred Way. After lunch visit  Badaling Great Wall, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. Cable car is optional to get the top of The Great Wall. Dinner is a Peking duck banquet in the original duck restaurant.   (B/L/D)

Day 4   BEIJING/LHASA

This morning you will fly to Lhasa (3,650 meters above sea level). Lhasa Gonggar Airport is located 98km south of Lhasa city. On arrival transfer to the hotel and be acclimatized to the high altitude this afternoon.   (B/L/D)

Day 5   LHASA

Today is devoted to exploring the delights of Lhasa, the Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lamas, is reputed to contain 1,000 rooms, hundreds upon hundreds of magnificent thangkas, frescoes, and images. After a western lunch, followed by visit to the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park, a richly decorated complex located in a beautiful garden setting, is the traditional summer palace of the Dalai Lamas.   (B/L/D)

Day 6   LHASA

Highlights of today’s sightseeing include the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. After having a western-style lunch, followed by visit to the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.   (B/L/D)

Day 7   LHASA/XIAN

This morning you will fly to  Xian, China’s ancient capital. On arrival into Xian, check in to your hotel for 2 nights and followed by visit to the Ancient City Wall of Xian, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.   (B/L/D)

Day 8   XIAN

Spend the day exploring Xian’s ancient monuments, including the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, home to over 8, 000 life-size Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. This is followed by visit to Banpo Museum. Step back in time as you experience a special Tang Dynasty Dumpling Dinner Show as optional in the evening.   (B/L/D)

Day 9   XIAN

Day 10   XIAN/GUILIN

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin after breakfast. On arrival, check in to your hotel for 2 nights and followed by visit to the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave. You can choose the Ethnic Songs and Dances Show at Lijiang Theatre as optional at night.   (B/L/D)

Day 11   GUILIN/YANGSHUO/GUILIN

Day 12   GUILIN/SHANGHAI
