Day 2   BEIJING

Day 3   BEIJING

This morning, visit the Badaling Great Wall, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. Cable car is optional to get the top of The Great Wall. After lunch visit the Ming Tombs Museum, the ancient burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors, and the Sacred Way. Dinner is a Peking duck banquet in the original duck restaurant.   (B/L/D)

Day 4   BEIJING/XIAN

This morning, after breakfast, visit the Lama Temple and the giant pandas in Beijing Zoo. Then, you’ll be transferred to the Beijing airport for your flight to Xian. On arrival into Xian, check in to your hotel for 2 nights.   (B/L/D)

Day 5   XIAN

Day 6   XIAN

Spend the day exploring Xian’s ancient monuments, including the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, home to over 8, 000 life-size Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. This is followed by visit to the Banpo Museum. Step back in time as you experience a special Tang Dynasty Dumpling Dinner Show as opstional in the evening.   (B/L/D)

Day 7   XIAN/LHASA

This morning, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. Then, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lhasa (3,650 meters above sea level). Lhasa Gonggar Airport is located 98km south of Lhasa city. On arrival, check in to the hotel and be acclimatized to the high altitude this afternoon.   (B/L/D)

Day 8   LHASA

This morning after breakfast, visit the Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lamas, is reputed to contain 1,000 rooms, hundreds upon hundreds of magnificent thangkas, frescoes, and images. Day 9   LHASA

Day 11   CHONGQING/FENGDU

Day 12   BADONG/XILING GORGE/SANDOUPING

Early in the morning for the thrilling experience of sailing through the magnificent Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge before arrival in Badong at noontime. Transfer to a small pea-boat for Shennong Stream drifting to experience the breathtaking scenery.
