Day 1   ARRIVE BEIJING

On arrival into Beijing, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend rest of the day exploring exciting Beijing at your leisure.

Day 2   BEIJING

Today, you will embark upon a full-day tour of Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven. You can choose the Beijing Opera Show/Kungfu Show as optional at night.  (B/L/D)

Day 3   BEIJING

This morning, visit the Badaling Great Wall, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. Cable car is optional to get the top of The Great Wall. After lunch visit the Ming Tombs Museum, the ancient burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors, and the Sacred Way. Dinner is a Peking duck banquet in the original duck restaurant.   (B/L/D)

Day 4   BEIJING/XIAN

This morning, enjoy some free time before transferring to the airport for your flight to XIAN , China’s ancient capital. On arrival into Xian , check in to your hotel for 2 nights and followed by visit to the Ancient City Wall of Xian, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.   (B/L/D)

Day 5   XIAN

Spend the day exploring Xian’s ancient monuments, including the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, home to over 8, 000 life-size Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. This is followed by visit to the Banpo Museum. Step back in time as you experience a special Tang Dynasty Dumpling Dinner Show as opstional in the evening.   (B/L/D)

Day 6   XIAN

Visit the Shaanxi History Museum and the Ancient City Wall of Xian. After lunch, continuing to visit the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore the Bazaar next to Muslim Street.   (B/L/D)

Day 7   XIAN/LHASA

This morning, visit the Hanyangling Museum, then, you will fly to Lhasa (3,650 meters above sea level). Lhasa Gonggar Airport is located 98km south of Lhasa city. On arrival transfer to the hotel and be acclimatized to the high altitude this afternoon.   (B/L/D)

Day 8   LHASA

Today is devoted to exploring the delights of Lhasa, the Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lamas, is reputed to contain 1,000 rooms, hundreds upon hundreds of magnificent thangkas, frescoes, and images. After a western lunch, followed by visit to the Sera Monastery and The Norbulingka Park, a richly decorated complex located in a beautiful garden setting, is the traditional summer palace of the Dalai Lamas.   (B/L/D)

Day 9   LHASA

Highlights of today’s sightseeing include the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. After having a western-style lunch, followed by visit to the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.   (B/L/D)

Day 10   LHASA/XINING

After having breakfast at the hotel, take an overnight soft sleeper train to Xining. Lunch and dinner are on your own. (B)

Day 11   XINING
