Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda (pinyin: Dàyàn Tǎ), is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'an. The structure was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.

Terra Cotta Warriors: The Terracotta Army (pinyin: bīngmǎ yǒng; literally "soldier and horse funerary statues") are the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang the First Emperor of China. The terra cotta figures, dating from 210 BCE, were discovered in 1974 by several local farmers near Xi'an. The figures vary in height (184–197cm - 6ft–6ft 5in), according to their role, the tallest being the Generals. The figures include warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians.

Banpo Museum: Banpo Museum is the best known Chinese Neolithic site. It is not the oldest, but rather the earliest to have been excavated extensively. Banpo covers five to seven hectares. More than 100 houses, both circular and square shaped, were surrounded by a defensive drainage ditch.

Great Mosque: The Great Mosque of Xi'an is one of the oldest and most renowned mosques in the country. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty (685-762), and renovated in later periods. It is still used by Chinese Muslims (mainly the Hui people) today as a place of worship. Unlike most mosques in Middle Eastern or Arab countries, the Great Mosque of Xi'an is completely Chinese in its construction and architectural style, except for some Arabic lettering and decorations, for the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets.

Ancient City Wall of Xian: The largest and best-preserved city wall in China is definitely worth a visit. The pieces of the wall have recently been reconnected so that you can do the 14km (8 3/4-mile) loop around it by foot, bicycle, or a golf cart. The Ancient City Wall of Xian were built during the early Ming dynasty, on the remains of Tang palace walls.
