Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda (pinyin: Dàyàn Tǎ), is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xian. The structure was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.

Terra Cotta Warriors: The Terracotta Army (pinyin: bīngmǎ yǒng; literally "soldier and horse funerary statues") are the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang the First Emperor of China. The terra cotta figures, dating from 210 BCE, were discovered in 1974 by several local farmers near Xi'an. The figures vary in height (184–197cm - 6ft–6ft 5in), according to their role, the tallest being the Generals. The figures include warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians.

Ancient City Wall of Xian:
The largest and best-preserved city wall in China is definitely worth a visit. The pieces of the wall have recently been reconnected so that you can do the 14km (8 3/4-mile) loop around it by foot, bicycle, or a golf cart. The Ancient City Wall of Xian were built during the early Ming dynasty, on the remains of Tang palace walls.

Banpo Museum: Banpo Museum is the best known Chinese Neolithic site. It is not the oldest, but rather the earliest to have been excavated extensively. Banpo covers five to seven hectares. More than 100 houses, both circular and square shaped, were surrounded by a defensive drainage ditch.

Mount Hua: Mount Hua (pinyin: Huà Shān), is one of the "Five Sacred Mountains" of China. It is located about 100 kilometres east of the city of Xi'an. Hua was historically the location of several influential Taoist temples, and was known as a centre for the practice of traditional Chinese martial arts.

Qianling Mausoleum:  The
Qianling Mausoleum (pinyin: Qiánlíng) is a Tang Dynasty (618–907) tomb site located in Qian County, and is 85 km (53 miles) northwest from Xi'an. Built by 684 (with additional construction until 706), the tombs of the mausoleum complex houses the remains of various members of the royal Li family. This includes Emperor Gaozong of Tang (r. 649–683), as well as his wife, the Zhou Dynasty usurper and China's first (and only) governing empress Wu Zetian (r. 690–705).

Shaanxi History Museum:  The Shaanxi History Museum is housing over 300,000 items (murals, paintings, pottery, coins; bronze, gold, and silver objects). The modern museum recalls the architectural style of the Tang dynasty.

Great Mosque: The Great Mosque of Xian is one of the oldest and most renowned mosques in the country. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty (685-762), and renovated in later periods. It is still used by Chinese Muslims (mainly the Hui people) today as a place of worship. Unlike most mosques in Middle Eastern or Arab countries, the Great Mosque of Xi'an is completely Chinese in its construction and architectural style, except for some Arabic lettering and decorations, for the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets.

Huaqing Hot Spring: Huaqing Hot Spring is situated about 25 kilometers away in the northeast of Xi’an. It used to be a former winter resort for emperors. Its natural beauty and many historical episodes connected with this spot are the attractions. Emperor You of the Western Zhou Dynasty (8th century BC) was the first to take a liking of the place and build a palace here for himself. Emperors of 11 dynasties followed his example.

Hanyangling Museum: The Hanyangling Museum is the joint tomb of Liu Qi, the fourth Emperor of the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-220A.D.) and his Empress, Wang. Empress Wang, mother of the Famous Han WuDi, died in 126 B.C. and was buried in Yangling next to her husband's tomb.

Famen Temple:
The Famen Temple was widely regarded as the "ancestor of pagoda temples in Guanzhong area".From 5-12 May 1987, four Buddha's relics were found after the opening of underground palace. Two of them were made of white jade. The third one was from a famed monk. These three are called "ghost relics".
